Last Month, Google Announced the launch of Android Pay- a mobile wallet in the UK. A lot of curiosity has been flying around since then on its efficiency and working. This app lets you store all your credit cards and debit cards on your Android device helping you manage and stay organized instead of running around remembering card numbers. With this, you can pay for anything and everything. This app will support both Master Card and Visa credit and debit cards. You don’t even have to launch the app when you have to use it.
So here’s how it works-
Your Android device should have NFC chip to support Android Pay. Almost all the Android devices have this except OnePlus2 and a few others. Your Android device should be running Android 4.4 KitKat or higher.
- Go to Google Play store.
- Download the app.
- Add your cards by taking snaps of it.
- Your fingerprint is required when a payment has to be authenticated.
So this is how Android Pay works. Watch out this space for more specifications and details once the app is launched. It is rumored to be launched in the next few months.
