Most of the space we get in phones with 16GB or 32GB is occupied by the Operating System and preloaded software being insufficient for our usage which lets us add the SD card. The risk of running out of space is very high once the number of photos songs and apps starts increasing. If you’re wondering how to move your apps to the SD card to expand the storage, here’s the solution.
- Go to settings
- Tap on application manager
- Select the apps you wish to move to SD card
- Tap on the ‘Move to SD card’ option. If it does not appear, it means that the app cannot be moved into the SD card.
- You can also bring back the moved app into your internal memory by tapping on ‘Move to device’ option
With these steps, you can easily expand your storage if your device has the SD card slot as most of the devices these days have unexpandable inbuilt memory.
