Whatsapp’s new Beta version now available for Android Smartphones

Whatsapp has now released its new Beta version 2.12.485 for android smartphones. Although it doesn’t have new features, all the bugs and issues have been fixed that were reported by users and found by developers.WhatsApp-2.12.485-681x383

Whatsapp Video calling feature is also rumored to be coming soon to Android phones although Whatsapp hasn’t officially announced it yet. The Beta version of Whatsapp is already available on the Google Play store. You can install the beta version via Google Play store only when you join the Beta program.

The update can also be installed manually by heading to Whatsapp’s official website and downloading the APK file to your device. “Unknown sources” option must be enabled once the file has been downloaded under your application settings or security settings. The current WhatsApp application must be uninstalled in order to get the new version. After which you need to use a file manager application to get the location of your saved WhatsApp 2.12.485 APK file. Tap on it to start installing it.
