Gmail app for Android gets Rich Text Formatting

Gmail has started rolling out its new update for its android app users. Rich Text Formatting and Instant RSVP are the new features added into Gmail v6.0

When you open your updated app, you will notice a new tool bar added while composing a mail. It has tools to make your text italic, bold, underlined, colored or highlighted. With this, you can get rid of boring text format and put important points into by highlighting them.

Google Calendar has also been updated with RSVP feature. You can view the time slot and the schedule in a single chat. The RSVP feature lets you instantly respond to invitations on a tap.Earlier this month, Gmail had announced about Gmailify- a feature with two major additions. Without your Google or Gmail Account, you can now use the app for Android and web client. The second major feature is that the features that were previously limited to only Gmail account of the user are now accessible even on non-Gmail accounts.

Having 1 Billion active users worldwide, Gmail is now focussing on introducing new features to improve the emailing experience of the users across the globe. The updated app is now available on Google Play store.
