Xiaomi has launched its latest smartphone Mi5 at a global launch event in MWC 2016. The launch was held in conjunction with Qualcomm at 8:20 hinting its processor. Mi 5 uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.
4Gb LPDDR4 RAM supports the processor and Mi 5 has a flash memory up to 128 GB. With a 5.5 inch display of 1080P, Mi5 supports a 16 LED backlight technology and front camera of 4MP. This gives a 600 nits brighter picture being 17% more power efficient. Black, White, and Gold are the three different colors in which Xiaomi Mi5 handsets are available in along with three different models of 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB.
This Xiaomi handset measures 144.55 x 69.2 x 7.25mm and weighs 129 grams. It has a ceramic back which is one of the hardest materials available. It includes Adreno 530 GPU for graphics. The 3000mAH battery is non-removable, and it comes along with quick charging support that lets you charge your phone up to 80% in less than an hour.
Ranging from $305 to $410, Mi 5 will go on sale from March 1st. What’s more ideal than strong internals and a premium build for a smartphone?!
