MWC(Mobile World Congress) 2016 is rumored to witness the launch of Blackberry’s Second Android phone next week. Codenamed as Vienna, it is priced lower the “Priv” and has a more conventional Blackberry design.
According to the reports the handset sports a 5- inch 1080p display with led flash on both front and the rear cameras. By the leaked images we learn that Blackberry has opted for an iconic display with an upfront keyboard design. The physical keyboard will be right below the main display. The volume buttons are on the left of the panel, and the power button is on the right. Vienna will also have a dual-core SoC clocked at 1.8GHz with 3 GB RAM with 18 MP rear camera.
The CEO of Blackberry John Chen had hinted about Vienna last December to target the mid-range segment of smartphones. However, the release date of Vienna has not been announced yet. Depending on Priv’s Performance ad the response Blackberry has decided to release their second Android based smartphone. MWC 2016 will be held in Barcelona and runs from February 22nd to February 26th. Samsung Galaxy s7 and LG G5 will also be introduced along with Vienna.
