Nexus 4 gets Lollipop 5.1

Anyone who have their Google Nexus 4 cell phone released back in November 2012 will be glad to realize that Google keeps on showerring upgrades for it. The Nexus 4 owners are currently getting the Android 5.1 Lollipop OTA overhaul.

The new Lollipop overhaul brings some key changes like the new snappy settings menu and changes to the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings. You can deal with the warnings from framework applications and others through the Interruptions choice in the Priority profile settings.

On security front, the new Device Protection highlight will you track a stolen or lost gadget. Regardless of the fact that the gadget falls in the wrong hands, factory reset would require the first user’s credentials. Voice calls get clearer with the HD Voice highlight .

Measuring 174.5MB, the Android 5.1 OTA overhaul is being pushed to the Nexus 4  in stages.
